A new way of seeing.
This is my Genesis Phase, a period in my artistic journey where I discovered an entirely new dimension of light and texture. Working in a studio, where natural light bursts powerfully into the space, I began to explore the body with a desire to render it more abstract. Fabrics multiply, feathers are incorporated, and each work is singular, guided by a precise intention.

During this process, one day, black appeared—the very complexity of this pigment had for a long time feared me to work with. Transitioning from soft pastel palettes and beige-doux to a deep colour was a necessity. So I challenged myself to explore darkness, pushing the concept to its extreme, even venturing into the realm of Vantablack. I questioned how the addition of chiaroscuro, of deep shadowed zones, could bring a new energy of transmutation.
I began exploring black under full sunlight, on the beach, draped in immense fabrics, feet sinking into the sand. It was there I began to understand the power of this density: it creates silence, a pause, and invites the viewer into a reflective, interior space. In these works, darkness becomes a living presence, a subtle energy that transforms perception and elevates the body beyond mere form.
